The World Maritime Day Parallel Event 2025 will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates from 29 September to 1 October at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City. Held under the theme “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity”, the event will spotlight global efforts to advance sustainable shipping, ocean governance, and maritime innovation.

Organised in collaboration with the International Maritime Organization (IMO), this global forum will bring together government leaders, industry experts, and environmental specialists to address key challenges and opportunities shaping the future of maritime transport.

The UAE’s role as host reflects its strategic maritime position, advanced port infrastructure, and commitment to climate neutrality by 2050. The three-day program will feature keynote speeches, expert panels, exhibitions, and workshops focused on digital transformation, clean energy, and inclusive maritime growth—reinforcing the importance of collaboration in driving meaningful change across the sector.
