ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) is a prominent maritime logistics leader in the UAE, operating as the dedicated maritime logistics arm for ADNOC Group. With an extensive fleet that includes VLCCs, VLGCs, LNG carriers, and more, ADNOC L&S serves over 100 clients across 50 countries worldwide. The company’s workforce, which comprises over 7,000 seafarers and other personnel, contributes to the development of UAE-based maritime capabilities and collaborates with local marine academies to nurture local talent.
ADNOC L&S demonstrates a strong commitment to working with UAE-based suppliers and service providers, emphasizing the utilization of local expertise and knowledge. In 2023, ADNOC L&S launched its Integrated Logistics Services Platform (ILSP), a groundbreaking system that manages clients’ logistics requirements and operates on a per ton basis. This platform caters to more than 70 ADNOC Offshore locations spread over 250 square kilometers, making it one of the world’s largest turnkey offshore logistics offerings. Al Gafai Marine Services Co. LLC
ADNOC Logistics & Services has embarked on a strategic journey to transition from being a traditional resources provider (offering vessels, manpower, material handling, etc.) to becoming a comprehensive Integrated Logistics Service Provider. Since the implementation of this integrated service model, Al Gafai Fleet plays significant role in this transformation jouney and has undergone significant enhancements to optimize asset utilization, and meet the ever-increasing demands of our esteemed clients. This transformation has yielded substantial achievements in terms of sustainability, safety, performance, and more, as outlined below:
Fleet Composition:
Our Offshore Logistics fleet comprises approximately 120 vessels, encompassing both owned and chartered vessels, carefully structured to meet diverse operational requirements. This fleet encompasses a range of vessel types, including AHTS, PSV-Non DP, PSV-DPII, Landing Craft, RMAT, DSV, SSRV, Crew Utility Boat, Passenger Ferry, Well Stimulation, Top Side Maintenance Vessels, and FISV.
Sustainability:
As part of our sustainability initiatives, we have implemented the use of biodiesel in our owned vessels, a measure currently in place on 10 vessels with plans for scaling across the entire fleet.
Furthermore, we have introduced shore power at Musaffah Base, enabling our vessels to draw power from the shore while berthed. These initiatives directly translate into reduced fuel consumption and a noteworthy decrease in CO2 emissions, aligning with our commitment to COP28 vision.
Safety:
– We receive daily Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) observations from all vessels.
– Through our Smart Vessel Program, we instantly receive system generated HSE observations via CCTV for our owned vessels.
– Our management conducts multiple HSE walkthroughs on the Offshore Fleet every week.
– The record of our man-hours without Lost Time Incidents (LTI) reflects our unwavering dedication to safety.
Performance:
With our meticulously chosen fleet composition, ADNOC LS has significantly improved vessel & deck utilization to >90%, and reduced the non-productive time associated with logistics at end-user locations. This has resulted in a substantially optimised cost of operations for both ADNOC L&S and our clients.

Albwardy Damen Marine Engineering LLC
Albwardy Damen is a joint venture between Albwardy Investment, Dubai and the Damen Shipyards Group, the Netherlands – both family-owned companies with a long history. We provide shipbuilding and shiprepair services to the marine and oil & gas industries in the Middle East.
We have a total workforce of around 1500 people of 26 different nationalities in our three UAE locations: Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah. Our people are our biggest asset, and we are proud that 15% of our staff has been with us for 25+ years. With all the key competences in-house, including an extensive engineering division, we repair and build vessels to the highest technical and environmental standards. We are certified by LRQA for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
We have all the major trades in-house, including an extensive and experienced Engineering Department. We are serving all operators in the region which have vessels of up to 130 metres with dockings in Sharjah Hamriya, Dubai and Fujairah. Afloat and Voyage repairs can be handled upto VLCC size on a layby birth or during voyage. We also have a 25 person diving team for underwater services such as inspections, hull cleaning and propeller polishing.
We carry out 200+ dockings, 12+ Newbuildings and 500+ afloat projects a year in the UAE and GCC region. Apart from the usual shipyards services, our specialties include Diving Services, Conversions, (fire)Damage repairs, OEM services and Engine repairs.
