On 19 September 2025, Sallaum Lines celebrated the European debut of its LNG dual-fuel vessel, Ocean Breeze, at the Port of Antwerp. The ceremony, hosted at Sallaum Terminal, gathered over 200 international guests including government officials, OEM representatives, and port executives.

Attendees toured the vessel and newly expanded terminal facilities before a programme of keynote speeches, a panel on the future of automotive logistics, and an official ribbon-cutting.

With capacity for 7,500 CEU and powered by dual-fuel LNG engines, Ocean Breeze is the first in a series of six next-generation PCTCs joining the fleet by 2027. The launch aligns with Sallaum’s €20 million Antwerp terminal expansion, boosting capacity to 17,000 CEU and enabling four RoRo vessels to be handled simultaneously.
Together, the vessel and terminal investments mark a major step in Sallaum’s strategy to strengthen its green logistics network and advance its 2030 net-zero ambition.
