With over 80% of Operating Members present, the Assembly achieved the necessary 50% attendance required to achieve quorum. Over 60% of Associate Members were also in attendance, marking the importance of this event.

The strategy, budgets, and activities for 2024 and 2025 were unanimously  approved.

Board Elections

The 2025 AGA board elections, held for the first time since the Board was first elected in 2021, were conducted in the presence of the Department of Community Development and Ministry of Community Development.

The board elections were conducted smoothly, with all of our existing board member candidates being re-elected, signaling the trust from the Operating Members that our Association is in safe hands for the next four years.

The elections resulted in the addition of a new member to the board, secured by Oldendorff and represented by Jens Maul Joergensen, Director of Bunkering, to further strengthen our leadership.

We welcome Mr. Jens to the 7Emirates Board.

Following the conclusion of the elections, the 7Emirates Board is now as follows:

Chairman:  ADNOC L&S – Represented by Capt. Abdulkareem Almessabi
Vice Chairman: Sharaf Shipping – Represented by Mr. Salah Sharaf
Secretary General: Monjasa – Represented by Mr. Anders Østergaard
Treasurer: Emarat Maritime – Represented by Capt. Rishi Nyati
Board Member: ENOC – Represented by Dr. Waddah Ghanem Al Hashmi
Board Member: Ali & Sons Holding – Represented by Shamis Al Dhaheri
Board Member: Oldendorff Carriers – Represented by Jens Maul Joergensen

We extend our gratitude to all board member candidates and to our members for their continued trust and commitment. We look forward to another year of progress and impactful initiatives together. 💫
